Industrial Gathering Advances Hardware Brand

China’s hardware industry gradually realizes the value of “Brand” in the fiercer market competition. In such hardware industrial bases as Xiaolan, Shuikou, Jinsha, Caitang, Yuhuan and so on, it is evident that the gathering of industrial bases plays an important role on industrial advance. Xiaolan County

Strengthen international competition with industrial gathering

Xiaolan County, located in one of the most developed economic zones – Zhujiang Delta, is a commercial county with the history of more than 700 years. Xiaolan County, a hardware county in Guangdong province, has obtained the title of “China’s Hardware Industrial Base” and “China’s Hardware (Lock) Export Base”. Hardware products from Xiaolan county have the following characteristics as varied categories, industrial driving, large exportation and high quality. By the end of 2004, hardware enterprises have been 2,067 in Xiaolan county with the staff of 62 thousand and the sale income of 8.487 billion RMB, accounting for 32.3% in the total industrial sale income of Xiaolan County. At present, Xiaolan county has shaped ten types of industrial chain: locks, gas utensils, gemels, truckles, and some other hardware fittings.

Industrial gathering effect promotes the rapid development of hardware backbone enterprises in Xiaolan county. “Guli” and “Huafeng” locks have been appraised as “Top 10 China’s Lock”. Market share of gas utensils in Huadi Company has been listed as No.1 in China for several years. Quality standard of “Sheng Yalun” nail clippers has been assessed as national industrial standard. Meanwhile, Xiaolan county increases the favorable policies of brand strategy. In hardware industry, 2 China’s brands, one kind of national free-inspection product, 10 provincial brand trade marks and 3 provincial enterprise technological center have emerged only in China’s hardware industry.

Yuhuan County

Small valves develop into large industry

By the end of 2004, valve industrial output amount in Yuhuan county, covering one fourth of total industrial output value, achieved industrial output of 9 billion RMB. Yuhuan county has been the largest valve manufacturing base in China.

Since 1980s when the first ball valve manufacturing enterprise were founded, there have been more than 1,000 valve enterprises. In Yuhuan county, clients may find all the fittings suppliers and the products can be arrived within 2 hours.

Shuikou county and Jinsha county –strong hardware county

Now Jinsha county has more than 1,800 enterprises. Among them, over 20 enterprises have the sale amount of 100 million RMB. 60% products have been exported to foreign countries.

Shuikou county is worthy of “Manufacturing Base of Water Faucet”. There are more than 420 water faucet enterprises with the staff of over 20,000. Over 80% products have been exported to foreign countries.
