20% Annual Output Speed - China's Slide Fasteners

The sale of China’s slide fasteners has amounted to 25 billion RMB in 2004, accounting for half of the world sale amount. According to the recent development, it is estimated that the output of China’s slide fasteners will maintain the annual speed of approximately 20%. Since the year of 1999, China has been the largest manufacturing country in the world. In 2004, the output of China’s slide fasteners was 28 billion meters. The direct and indirect export amount has covered over 80% of the total output. At present, slide fasteners enterprises are mainly in Zhejiang, Guangdong and Fujian. However, in the medium and high quality slide fasteners market, it is obvious that part of China’s slide fasteners are low-quality. Therefore, China’s slide fasteners will improve the manufacturing technology to expand more share market in the world.
